Remember Windmill is a combination of a Discover Attack and a Pin

Lesson 4:(March 29th) : Review/Practice Day :

This class gives you a chance to practice against someone or ask me any questions of previous classes.

Lesson 5:(April 5th) : Checkmate patterns and Applications in a game

Lesson 6: (April 12th): Test Day (You will be given a random position and be asked to play them)

You will be tested on:

  1. King and Pawn Endgames
  2. 2 Bishops Checkmate

Lesson 7: (April 26th): Wild Card – Mystery Saturday

Note: Decoy means to bait the opponent, and thus can combine a wide range of Tactical ideas including Pin, Fork, skewer, Discovered Attack and Back Rank)

The chess endgame with a king and a pawn versus a king is one of the most important and fundamental endgames. It is important to master this endgame, since most other endgames have the potential of reducing to this type of endgame via exchanges of pieces. (Read more … Link)
